The WA Parliament has now passed a number of amendments to the Strata Titles Act 1985 to modernise how strata operates in Western Australia. The amended Act has now taken effect in Western Australia (as of the 1st of May 2020).
All strata properties registered as Strata Titles at Landgate are subject to the Strata Titles Act 1985 (the Act) and will all be subject to a number of changes intended to deliver a better strata framework for the future.
